LOVE any handel’s spot, guaranteed large portions and diverse, yummy flavors. but into several large cookie/brownie chunks which was very satisfying!!

We paid $42 for 7 ice creams, and unfortunately it was one of the worst ice cream experiences we’ve ever had. Within literally one minute, the ice cream started melting everywhere. It was dripping all over our hands and clothes so fast that we could barely even eat it. Everyone ended up covered in melted ice cream, and most of it went straight into the trash. For $42, I expected at least to be able to enjoy what we purchased. Instead, we walked away frustrated, messy, and without even finishing the ice creams. I’ve honestly never seen ice cream melt this ridiculously fast. The photo was taken almost immediately after we received them and shows exactly what happened. Seven ice creams, $42, and most of them ended up in the garbage. Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. Edit: We understand it was hot, but this wasn’t our first time eating ice cream in hot weather. Ice cream should not melt to the point of being almost impossible to eat within one minute of being served. The issue wasn’t the weather, it was how unusually fast the ice cream melted.

Handle’s has some of the best ice cream in Irvine! Every flavor we’ve tried has been delicious, and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. I also want to thank Handle’s for supporting our local schools and giving back to the community. It’s always wonderful to see local businesses invest in the families they serve. Communities are stronger when we support one another, and Handle’s is a great example of that. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for amazing ice cream and outstanding customer service!

Treating ourselves after a hard roller skating session, we stopped in to Handel's for a cone. We were served quickly. There was a great selection of flavors, making it hard to choose! We ended up with single cones of orange dream cream, strawberry sorbet, and chocoholic chunk--all delicious. The cones were very generous considering they were singles, which is nice considering the price; for the price of one cone, you could buy a half gallon of ice cream at your local grocery store. But for a high quality, freshly made, once-in-a-while cool treat, we'll go to Handel's!

My wife came across this place while scrolling through social media, and after checking out the menu, we decided to make the drive out to Irvine to give it a try. It was definitely worth the trip. First off—wow. There are so many flavors to choose from that narrowing it down was a challenge. Since neither of us could decide, we both went with the sampler so we could try four flavors each. My wife chose Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie, Vanilla Made with Oreo, Vanilla Caramel Brownie, and Knot Your Average Dough. Her favorite was Knot Your Average Dough, but she was a little disappointed with the Vanilla Caramel Brownie because she expected more pretzel flavor and didn't really taste any. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie was incredibly rich and sweet—even by my standards. I went with Banana Cream Pie, Blueberry Cobbler, Monkey Business, and Graham Central Station. Every single flavor was delicious. As a huge banana fan, the combination of Banana Cream Pie and Monkey Business was absolutely amazing and easily the highlight of the visit for me. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. With this many tempting flavors, one visit just isn't enough!
